Database writer in Revelations?

So since everyone on the outside, including Shaun, doesn't know Desmond was actually going through Ezio's memories, who wrote the database articles in Revelations? Sixteen? I haven't had enough time to read all the entires, but there seemed to be a certain kind of Shaun-esque snark to the entries I read, which, if true, is a major continuity error on Ubisoft's part. Any thoughts?
