Rogue cheats can help progress?[edit source]

While playing with several cheats activated I discovered progree can be saved. Ex. Plundering ships and looting resources, afterwards applying them to ship upgrades and exit the Animus NOT to the main menu (although I haven't tried it yet) upgrade progress can be saved.
