Étienne Cochard de Chastenoy was a French military and colonial administrator during the 18th century.

During Pierre de Fayet's tenure as governor of Saint-Domingue, Chastenoy briefly served as acting governor to relieve Fayet's duties. Chastenoy was charged with enforcing the Code Noir, supressing the Maroon rebellion, rebuilding Port-au-Prince and combating piracy. Following the death of Fayet in 1737, Chastenoy continued as acting governor until Louis XV could appoint a successor.
