Éamon de Valera (14 October 1882 – 29 August 1975) was a key leader in the Irish War of Independence and later became the 3rd President of Ireland.[1] During the events of the war, Valera worked with the great-grandmother of Christopher Darby. In November 2013, Darby brought up his familial connection to Valera as a possible new time period for an Abstergo Entertainment project.[2]
