Zita was the mother of Zopheras, living in Sparta in Lakonia, Greece during the 5th century BCE.
After helping Xanthe, the magistrate of the village of Pitana,[1] the misthios Kassandra was told that there were others in Lakonia who might use her skills. Xanthe mentioned Zita and Zopheras as one case she might look into.[2]
