A Zeppelin is a type of rigid airship, used for transport or aerial bombardment. The German army used Zeppelins during their bombing raids of London in World War I.

  • Zeppelins have an internal structural framework or a keel, making them rigid, unlike their non-rigid counterparts, blimps.
