Xerxes I of Persia
Xerxes I of Persia (519 BCE - 465 BCE), also known as Xerxes the Great, was the son of Darius I and later the Emperor of Achaemenid Persia during the Persian War, during which he married Queen Esther, not knowing she was a Jewish peasent beforehand until later on, when she informed him after having dicovered that his vizer, Haman, was planning to wipe-out her people. Xerxes I was a strong ally of the Templars.[1][2]
In 465 BCE, Xerxes was killed by the Assassin Darius, marking the first recorded use of the Hidden Blade.[3]
