A volley gun is a firearm with several barrels which are designed to either fire in succession or simultaneously, in which case it is known as a duckfoot pistol. Guns of this type constituted an early attempt at designing firearms for multiple discharges without reloading and predated the development of repeaters which succeeded them.[1][2]
