Vlad the Impaler

Vlad III the Impaler was a Voievod of Vallachia, ruling between 1456 - 1462.

He was notorious for impaling political enemies and prisoners, an effective (and seemingly successful) metod of execution.

He is mentioned in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood in the trade items, Vlad the Impaler coins.

In Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Ezio goes on a quest to find his sword, which was rumored to be a weapon that could defeat any foe.
