Vanguard
The Vanguard is a multiplayer character for the upcoming game Assassin's Creed: Revelations.
A Cossack from Odessa, The Vanguard was spurred into military service by the threat of Ottomans encroaching on her homeland. After many years of faithful service as a scout and spy, the Templars approached her with offers of wealth and power in exchange for loyalty. Seeing this as an opportunity strike at the heart of the Empire, she accepted gladly.
So far, her name is unknown, but her main weapon is a long-handled hatchet.
Unique Moves
Hatchet Strike (Low Profile, Front)
The Vanguard pulls out her hatchet and slices it into her targets waist, knocking her victim to the ground, and then quickly slices her hatchet into her victims ribcage, thus killing them.
Cut Down to Size (Low Profile, Back)
The Vanguard quickly pulls out her hatchet and embeds it into the side of her target, before hastily removing her weapon and striking down into her victim's back, chopping them in between their shoulder blades. Her target drops to their knees from the initial attack, before their body falls forward as she removes her hatchet the second time.
(High Profile, Front)
Springing Strike (High Profile, Back)
As the Vanguard runs towards her target, she uses her legs to spring herself up into the air, before swinging her hatchet above her head and into her target's upper back. Bringing her victim to their knees from her attack, she pushes their body away from her with her foot, whilst pulling upwards to dislodge her weapon, smiling contently to herself as she throws her hatchet in the air and catches it at the base of its axehead.
