Unas was a soldier stationed in Camp Nisi, Herakleion Nome, Egypt.

Around 48 BCE, Pothinus, regent to the pharaoh and a member of the Order of the Ancients, ordered Unas to use his position at the camp to keep a close eye on Cleopatra's movements in Herakleion.[1]
