Ugo was a member of the Venetian Thieves' Guild during the 15th century. Upon Ezio Auditore de Firenze's arrival in Venice, Ugo helped him bring the wounded Rosa back to the Thieves' Guild. After Ugo saw Ezio helping Rosa, he seemed to develop a dislike for him, shouting for him to "hurry up, we haven't got all day, idiota" when he brought her to the boat.

After that, he gave him instructions to free some captured thieves, followed by the order to steal some armor from La Serenissima. After Ezio freed the captured thieves, he admitted "I didn't expect you to succeed so quickly."

However, Ugo or Rosa was not seen in Assassins Creed Brotherhood. Apparently, they stayed in Veince, along with other Venetian thieves.

Trivia

  • He is one of the few characters in Assassin's Creed II to have no database entry.
  • When you first meet Ugo in the mission That's Gonna Leave a Mark, he has a sword. The only other instances where you see thieves wielding swords is when you have to kill the traitorous thieves in the mission Cleaning House.
  • His model is used as the database image for Thieves in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, despite him not actually appearing in the game.
