Entrance to the tomb

The Tomb of Orpheus was a tomb housing the remains of the legendary musician and poet, Orpheus, located in the southern region of Lesbsos, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the tomb was explored by the the Spartan misthios, Kassandra, who deciphered an ancient stele within.[1]
