Tiber

The Tiber River is a river that runs through the city of Rome, and seperates the Vaticano District from the rest of Rome in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Many bridges are built over it, allowing civilians to cross the river from various points in the city. The Castel Sant'Angelo can be found near the river, and Tiber Island is located within the river itself.
The iconic scene of the Assassin Ceremony, ends with the Assassin performing a Leap of Faith into the river whilst being watched by Ezio and Machiavelli.
Trivia
- Ezio Auditore considers dropping the Apple into the Tiber River at the beginning of Brotherhood.
- There are hidden entrances into the Tiber Island Assassins Guild submerged in the Tiber River.
- Though you can not see the new Assassin dive into the water, there is nowhere else for them to land after performing the leap of faith.
