The Farm

The Farm is the birthplace of the main protagonist of Assassin's Creed, Desmond Miles, where he was destined to be trained as an Assassin. It is an Assassin hideout that lies in the desert, an off-the-grid compound with a population of about 30 people, much like the city of Masyaf. Assassins who lived there were not allowed to leave the compound. This is why Desmond had to flee from the farm. When the Assassins attempted to liberate Desmond from Abstergo in the first Assassin's Creed, Vidic revealed that the Assassin attackers were the last of the group from Desmond's birthplace. When Desmond asked Lucy about his parents, she said she didn't know, and that they probably escaped.
