Behind the scenes

A falcata is a type of sword originating from pre-Roman Iberia. While similar in design to a kopis, it is unclear whether the falcata was an Iberian parallel to the Greek weapon or was inspired by it. Additionally, a falcata was often twice the length of a kopis and had half of its blade double-edged.
