The BBB was a fight club made up of Danish and Anglo-Saxon men located in a mausoleum in the north of Leicestershire, England that served as a place of meeting for members where they would tell stories, get drunk, and engage in friendly hand-to-hand sparring matches.
History
Created during the 9th century, the BBB operated as a place of meeting for members where they would tell stories, get drunk, and engage in friendly hand-to-hand sparring matches. As the BBB continued on and gained more members, they decided to restrict their membership behind a codeword; "Naked fists and walleyed lisps." They would also create a hierarchy of the club's greatest fighters, with the best being declared the "Champion of The BBB."[1]
Sometime during the 9th century, the Viking Shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir found and joined the group, defeating their best fighters, becoming the new Champion of The BBB and earning permanent membership.[1]
