Tessa Varzi
Tessa Varzi was a member of the Assassin Order during the Italian Renaissance. She was a part of a team which also included Francesco Vecellio and Cipriano Enu, with which she went along various missions throughout Italy.[1]
Tessa was notably responsible for the death of Doge Agostino Barbarigo, after he betrayed the Assassins by serving the Borgia. She had sent him various poisoned, threatful letters, after which he fell ill and died.[1] One time Francesco wanted to free some prisoners that Cesare Borgia planned to shoot at with his crossbow for his own amusment. The Assassins planned to replace the prisoners with the guards who were serving Cesare so there life will be lost instead. But since the guards needed to be alive for the plan to succeed Tessa had to make a poisonous powder to knock the guards off conscience. Her poison worked and Cesare murderd the guards dressed up as prisoners instead of the actual prisoners the Assassins rescued.
