The Temple of Horus was a temple complex situated in Letopolis dedicated to Horus.
In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa came to the temple, searching for Taharqa, the steward of Letopolis who had information regarding the Scarab, a member of the Order of the Ancients.[1] As he entered the temple, Bayek came across Nito, a pregnant woman who oversaw the work projects in the city, carrying a heavy load. Bayek offered to help her locate her workers, who had not returned from their digging assignment in a well. Bayek eventually returned, reporting their status to Nito.[2]
Shortly afterwards, Bayek located Taharqa in the temple; Taharqa invived Bayek for a drink in his own residence in the complex. Bayek handed over a toy belonging to Taharqa's son, Kawab to him, while the two talked about the Scarab, Taharqa stating that the Scarab preyed on the weak. They were later interrupted by one of Taharqa's servants, who reported that bandits had attack the city again.[1]
Taharqa rallied the residents of Letopolis and together with Bayek, they repelled the bandits' attack outside the temple and in the complex.[1]
