The Temple of Apollo was a temple dedicated to the god Apollo located in Naxos on Naxos Island, Greece.

The temple's construction was begun in 530 BCE by King Lygdamis, but despite the island's marble trade it never got beyond the Portara, the lintel of the temple. The construction was restarted during the Peloponnesian War, when Naxos was led by the Phoenix. Evandros, a priest, was in charge of the construction, but the battles between Naxos and its neighbor, Paros Island, prevented him from getting the funds required to finish the temple.[1]
