Templar Coins are translucent, collectible items that the Assassin Altaïr ibn La-Ahad collected during his

journey to Cyprus. Templar coins are used to buy upgrades for the Animus, and come in bronze, silver, and gold forms.The coins are not the size of a regular coin, as they are approximately half the size of Altaïr. Though, this is ikely just a feature made to make them easier to find.
