Suger of Saint-Denis (c. 1081 - 13 January 1151) was a French abbot and statesman. He was a friend and personal advisor of Louis VII of France, and ruled France in his absence during the Second Crusade.
During the French Revolution, the Assassins Arno Dorian explored the city of Saint-Denis, renamed Franciade, and retrieved a sword the Eagle of Sugar, a sword connected with the abbot who had the power to dazzle the enemies.[1] [2]
