Odin and his crew arrive at Stífla Mylna

Stífla Mylna was a silica mylna in northeastern Gullnámar, Svartálfaheimr. During the warlord Surtr's invasion, the mill was taken over by Muspel warriors.

History

In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Svartalfheim, the Æsir lord and his einherjar crew aboard the longship Skíðblaðnir successfully raided the mill and pillaged two silica pillars. While there, he also found a scroll of the saga of Gæfuleysi and his quarrel with a witch.
