Spiked Axe
The Spiked Axe was a type of common battleaxe distinct for the numerous spikes near the tip of the blade, meant as a stabbing and cutting tool.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra could purchase the axe from blacksmiths or loot it from bodies across Greece.[1]
