Arctic fox

The arctic fox is a small fox mainly found in the Northern Hemisphere and in the arctic tundras. Known for its thick, warm fur, the arctic fox also uses its fur as a mode of camouflage.
During the Viking Age in Norway, the arctic fox was mainly found in Rygjafylke, Norway, near Fannaraki Summit. The Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan hunted the little animals for their fur and fangs, as a means to trade with Ravensthorpe's tanner, Wallace. For the hunting deliveries, Eivor aided Wallace, for his orders from Gunnar and Winfrith, and received a tungsten ingot and a Desperate Swiftness Rune as rewards, respectively.[1]
During the Seven Years' War in North America, arctic foxes were found in the areas of Havre-Saint-Pierre, Burgeo, Harbour Deep, and Miramichi as they were hunted for their fur. Master Templar hunter Shay Cormac hunted these creatures, to create pouches for his smoke bombs and ammunition for his pistols.[2]
