Shaban Jafari, a.k.a. Shaban Beemokh ("Brainless"), was a significant figure in Iranian contemporary history. He led his men against opponents of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, notably during the 1953 coup orchestrated by the Central Intelligence Agency. He was a Templar agent sent by Abstergo Industries to Iran to help the Shah take absolute power.
