Serqet, also known as Serket, was the goddess of fertility, nature, animals, medicine, magic in Egyptian mythology.According to legend, Serqet protected Isis and Horus from Set, after his murder of Osiris.

By the 1st century BCE, a cult in worship of Serqet operated in Lower Egypt, performing various sacrilegious killings and rituals.[1]
