Seagulls, or sometimes called gulls, are medium-sized birds belonging to the Laridae family. Seagulls are a type of seabird adapted to living in coastal areas, foraging above and in the sea, whilst still nestling on land.

Most seagull species are white or grey, with black markings. They live on fish, crustaceans and other small animals.

History

Seagulls are often found near coastal cities and can be seen resting on and following ships, using them as a piece of land. Pirate Edward Kenway, templar Shay Cormac, misthios Kassandra and shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir all encountered a species of seagull during their time.[1][2][3][4]
