Sea Dog's Bite

The Sea Dog's Bite was a British privateer vessel captained by Edward Thatch, who at the time had not yet turned to piracy, during the early 16th century.

In January 1713, the Sea Dog's Bite intercepted and engaged Alexander Dolzell's Emperor–a privateer vessel which had recently turned to piratical acts–during its attack on the Amazon Galley. The crew of the Sea Dog's Bite quickly overwhelmed and eliminated the majority of the Emperor's crew before taking on a handful as replacement crew, including one Edward Kenway.
