Scimitar
The Scimitar is a sword which appears in Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, though for some reason it is not purchasable in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. That also applies to the Maul, Flanged Mace, Channeled Cinquedea, and Florentine Falchion. Theseweapons can, however, be acquired by disarming a guard while Ezio is equipped with an empty heavy weapon sheath.
History
The Scimitar is an old Middle Eastern sword with a curved blade, mostly used by the Arabs in horse-warfare due to its light weight and ability to slash enemies with ease.
