Sandra Day O'Connor
Sandra Day O'Connor (born March 26, 1930) is a retired associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, serving from her appointment in 1981 by Ronald Reagan until her retirement in 2006. She was the first woman to be appointed to the Court.
In 2000, the Supreme Court deliberated over Bush v. Gore, a case asking the court whether or not a vote recount could be held in the crucial swing state of Florida following the 2000 U.S presidential election. Enticed by the prospect of retiring under a Republican President, O'Connor was persuaded by Templar ally and fellow justice, Antonin Scalia, into voting in favor of Abstergo Industries puppet, George W. Bush.
O'Connor retired in 2006 and was replaced by Templar puppet, John Roberts. Years prior, Scalia had given Roberts' name to Bush as a potential future Court nominee.
