Rouecistre Blockade

Rouecistre Blockade was a naval blockade that was adjacent and behind Rouecistre Fortress, in 9th century Cent, England.
History
In 873, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan traveled to the blockade to break the naval chain for her allies, Geadric and Runa Egilsdottir, to dock their ships. Within the blockade's premises, Eivor noticed that the door for the chain was locked and needed to find the key. Looking around, Eivor caught of a Saxon soldier holding the key. Obtaining the key from the soldier, Eivor went and opened the door. Within the structure, Eivor broke two links and let the naval chain down. Afterwards, Eivor left to meet with her allies and to discuss the impending assault on Rouecistre Fortress.[1]
Through her travels, Eivor found and retrieved a nickel ingot from a chest within the same structure holding the naval chain. [2]
