River Severn

The River Severn (Welsh: Afon Hafren), also known as the Afon River is a river that crosses Wales and England. In the latter, it flows through Shropshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. The city of Gloucester is located by the river.
History
Vagn's scouts informed him that the river played a part in the legend of Saint George, leading to Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan searching for his legacy.[1] She eventually found his bracers and trousers inside fortifications along the river.[2] Inside the Northern Monastery, she also found a clue which allowed her to locate the River Dee in Wales.[3]
Behind the scenes
River Severn is a playable location introduced in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Originally not available in the base game, the location is added through the River Raids update released on 17 February 2021.
