Remus (771 BCE – c. 753 BCE) was the twin brother of Romulus, the legendary founder and first king of Rome. According to Roman mythology, Remus and Romulus were raised by a she-wolf in a cave known as Lupercal located at the Palatine Hill.[1][2][3]

Behind the scenes

Remus is a semi-legendary figure and character in Assassin's Creed, first mentioned in database entries in the 2010 Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and the mobile game Assassin's Creed: Identity. The Followers of Romulus are erroneously referred to as "Sons of Remus" in the Assassin's Creed: Revelations novelization.[4]
