Reinforced Javelin

The Reinforced Javelin was a type of javelin used in the 5th century BCE Greece. As it name suggested, the javelin bore metal reinforcements on its shaft, making it easier to handle and thus more deadly.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found this weapon in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes
The Reinforced Javelin, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, including the Champion's Spear, Laches' Eternal Lance, and the Traitor's Spear. These are all the recycled model of Serpent of Serapis, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
