The Vault within the Temple of Pythagoras.

The Pythagorean Vault was a comparitively small chamber constructed by Those Who Came Before and later incorporated into the Temple of Pythagoras. The chamber was largely hollow, save for a small pedestal located in the center of the main chamber on a raised base.

In 1506, the Vault was visited by Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Leonardo da Vinci during their exploration of the Pythagorean temple. In it they were confronted by a series of number and letter codes, which meant little to Leonardo, though Ezio knew that it was not meant for either of them.

Trivia

  • This is the only vault, so far, to not feature one of Those Who Came Before.
  • The numbers revealed in the vault arae latitude and longitude located in Turin, New York. This could imply the shroud of Turin or something else entirely, like another vault.
