Ptolemy
Claudius Ptolemy (c. 100 – c. 170) was a Greco-Egyptian mathematician, astronomer, geographer, astrologer, and poet. He was best remembered for his Geography, an authorative treatise on the matter.
During the early 16th century, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze bought a copy of this book from one of the several book shops in Constantinople.[1]
