The Prowler (real name: Il Lupo) is a multiplayer character in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood who wields a switchblade, one that is similar to the hidden blade of the Assassins. Despite his similarity to the Assassins, the Prowler is, as all other multiplayer characters in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, a Templar.
Unique Moves
The Plunge of Death
The Prowler leaps from a rooftop above, onto the target, forcing them to the ground and plunging the blade into their skull. The target dies instantly.
Headache
The Prowler runs up behind his target and shoves his blade through the back of their head, killing them.
Stab and Throw
The Prowler goes in front of his target and shoves his blade into the stomach of his target while holding his back to make sure he doesn't escape, he then throws his dead target to the ground.
Customization
Colors:
- Basic: Grayish blue hood and cape
- Extra 1: Brown hood and cape
- Extra 2: Red hood and cape
- Extra 3: Green hood and cape
Gear:
- Advanced: Added plate vambraces and greaves.
- Superior: Added golden Templar cross coins on golden clasp, extended undershirt, added white sash beneath belt.
- Elite: Hood and top of brown vest given a golden designed trim, red shirt given a brighter gold trim, Templar cross on the cape given a golden outline.
Trivia
- The Prowler was previously known as the Hunter.
- The Prowler's cape and switchblade are both marked with a Knights Templar cross.
- His name, "Il Lupo," translates to "The Wolf," a name similar to La Volpe's.
- The cloak he wears resembles Maria Thorpe's cloak from Assassin's Creed II.
- Despite previously being mentioned to make an appearance in the single-player of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, he is never seen.
- In the Russian translation, he is labeled as the "Bandit".
- In the Polish translation, he is labeled as the "Hunter", his previous name.
