Praxis

Praxis (died in 430s BCE) was a Megarian man living in the town of Megara, Greece.

Sometime before the Peloponnesian War Praxis was charged by the leader of Megaris to court Odessa, a local farmer's daughter, whose estate the leader wanted. Believing Praxis to be "making good progress" with her, the leader's dreams were dashed as Praxis turned up dead. The leader was certain that Odessa had a hand in Praxis' "mysterious" death, though there was no proof.^[1]
