Pissa Oros Citadel

Pissa Oros Citadel was a military citadel situated in the western corner of the Isolated Desert in Egypt.

History

Around 38 BCE, the citadel was used by the Roman general Gaius Julius Rufio as one of his base of operations in preparation for an invasion of Egypt. He placed his captain Jibade to overseer the citadel, ordering him to bring in luxurious goods to be used as inducements and recruit more men to his cause. The Hidden One Bayek of Siwa, having discovered this through a letter he recovered from Saragina Camp, travelled there and destroy the supplies before assassinating Jibade.[1]
