Pigeon Coops are used in Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.They are used in Renaissance Italy by Ezio Auditore to carry out [[Assassination Contract|Assassination Contracts] and in Brotherhood Assassin Recruits.They also are mentioned in Assassin's Creed

Third Crusade

In the Third Crusade Pigeon Coops Were used by Al Mualim in Masyaf to hold pigeons which would transport messages from the Assassin's Stronghold to the Assassins' Bureaus in Damascus,Acre and Jerusalem and vice versa.Specifically pigeons were used in Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad Redemption Quest for the Nine Templars, by notifying that Altaïr was headed to a Bureau or that he had succeeded in an assassination. It is unknown if pigeon were still used by the order after the Fall of Masyaf.
