The Phylakitai was an ancient Egyptian paramilitary police force that operated throughout the kingdom. Members of the phylakitai were known as phylakes.

During the reign of Ptolemy XIII, in the late 1st century BCE, the phylakitai of Alexandria was Gennadios.
