Parnes Hunting Grounds

The Parnes Hunting Grounds was a small lion den situated in a forested area north of Athens in Attika, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the camp was visited by the misthios Kassandra, who eliminated the lions and looted the valuables within.[1]
