Ezio using the Parachute

Parachutes are tools featured in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, with the purpose of breaking Ezio Auditore da Firenze's fall from a height. Aside from using it to slow his fall, Ezio can use the parachute to maneuver through the air, and land on horses. It can also be used to perform air assassinations on people. The parachute is square-shaped, unlike modern parachutes which are circular. The parachute is another invention of Leonardo da Vinci, in-game and in reality.

Triva

• In real life Adrian Nickolas, a British skydiver, took the designs of Leonardo da Vinci's parachute and and tested it in 2000. Suprizingly it was succesful.
