The Palm Tree of Eurymedon

The Palm Tree of Eurymedon was a palm tree made of bronze, erected within the Sanctuary of Delphi in Phokis, Greece, by the general Cimon of Athens in the aftermath of the victory over Persians at the Battle of the Eurymedon.

During the Peloponnesian War, the statue was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
