Otto Schmidt (died 2012) was an Operations executive in the Lineage Research and Acquisition division of Abstergo Industries, and a member of the Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order.[1]

Biography[edit | edit source]

In October 2012, details of the Inner Sanctum of the Templar Order were made available to recruits of the second stage of the Animi Training Program. Kept in a dossier of Abstergo Files, the one pertaining to the Inner Sanctum was entitled "File.0.17\Ins_InnerSanctum" and included the names and positions of all its members, Schmidt being one of them. Revealing his position as the Operations executive of the Lineage Research and Acquisition division.[1]

Sometime following this, Schmidt was killed under unknown circumstances; the information was later leaked by Erudito and was covered up by Abstergo CEO Alan Rikkin. In the same report, an associate of Schmidt's, Anson Peake, was also noted to be missing.[2] Uncovering his Inner Sanctum status, even Erudito had no answer for what really happened to Schmidt.[3]
