Orpheus was a legendary musician, poet, and prophet in Greek mythology.

According to legend, Orpheus was dismembered by a group of Thrakian women and his corpse was taken to the sea. His head and lyre reached the island of Lesbos, where the residents constructed a tomb for him in the southern region.[1]
