Ocelot

The ocelot is a carnivorous mammal of the family Felidae. It occurs from the southern United States to northern Argentina, but has already been extinguished in some regions of its geographic distribution. It inhabits all types of environment throughout its geographic distribution.

It has been heavily hunted because of its fur and to be sold as a pet. Its beauty and relative docility have already made the ocelot desired as an exotic pet. Because it is relatively smaller in size, the species does not cause problems with attacks on humans.

The animal appeared in the wildlife of the game Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
