Novice

Novice is the lowest rank in the Hashshashin sect. They have no use of the Short Blade, Throwing Knives, Hidden Blade, nor can they Counter Attack, Counter Grab, Defense Break, Dodge, or Climb Walls. For Desmond, being in Novice rank also greatly decreases his Sync bar.

Altaïr gets demoted to Novice after his failure at Solomon's Temple.
