The Northern Treasury of the World (天下被库) was one of the vaults erected by ancient Chinese assassins who predate the foundation of the Chinese Brotherhood of Assassins. Located in Ink Village in the Taihang Mountains within Hebei Circuit, the vault contained a vast amount of money, silk, weapons and armors accumulated for many centuries.

Artifacts kept in the vault included the famous dagger used by Zhuan Zhu during the Warring States period to assassinate King Liao of Wu in 515 BCE, as well as a spear that allegedly belonged to Wei Yu, the assassin of Qin Shi Huang in 221 BCE.[1]

By 756, Pei Min, a former Tang general served as the guardian of the vault.[1]
